Just a quick little question...
I was wondering where (if anyone would like to share of course) the best place to find good swords is. Where does everyone get all of their sword mods, b/c i would like to get some without paying like 60K for one... so if anyone would like to give me some tips i would greatly appreciate it ...
Thanks in advance |

You can get max items from collectors and crafters, guaranteed. Add the best upgrades you have to them and just improve them as you go.
Kill critters in high level areas, the closer to the end game you are the better the chances of max items. Likewise for chests, the more expensive the key the more likely you are to get max items. It is always random though. |

Additionally, to increase your chance to get sword drops will depend on the foes in the area you are fighting. Look for areas that have a high concentration of high-level warrior foes. Some warriors will drop only armor types (Runes) and others will drop weapons, which is usually equivalent to the warrior profession (Hammer, Sword, Axe). You will find some good information in the Farming section of the forum. |

Key prices are constant, they do not fluxuate with supply and demand.

I have never seen the price a merchant charges for keys change, anywhere, any time. Or did they at one time cost less but now have reached their cap and so never change?
I get better drops in the ring of fire than in the desert (for example), thus the correlation between the cost of keys and a better chance of a better drop, still operating within the bounds of the random item generator. You can say that it is a difference in monster levels or difficulty, but the cost of keys also reflects that. |

For what it's worth, I recently got 1st level chest hunter on two different chars, one with Shiverpeaks chests, one with Luxons.
Two hundred chests, around 70 golds. (not including runes) 3 axes, 5 hammers, 5 bows, 3 swords, 3 shields, the rest caster items. Out of that lot, ONE 20/20 sundering Jitte. With 15%vs hexed :/ Just know I'm gonna get iron when I salvage it. |
